4 inch Embroidery Hoop

$6.00

This listing is for 1-4 inch embroidery hoop.

I only use Elbesee wooden hoops imported from the UK. Elbesee is a family run business which has been manufacturing hoops for over 65 years in the Cotswolds in England.

What size hoop do you need?

For embroidering:

I recommend stitching with a 4 or 5 inch hoop to prevent slipping and to keep the fabric nice and taught while you sew.

For framing:

Most of my designs look good framed in a 5 inch hoop. There are a few larger ones that would need a 7 inch hoop, for example Stitch Garden, Paris in the Spring and Christmas Bunting. You can also use regular picture frames.
